This class is my interpretation of the Candy Stripe Drip Cake. These are so popular right now and are so quick compared to fondant covered cakes!
You will learn how to split, fill, and mask your cake professionally, as well as finish it to a high standard with my new silky smooth buttercream recipe – a bit like Swiss Meringue without all the faff! You will learn how to create a gorgeous ‘candy stripe’ design, which will really make your cake POP! You will also hand make all of the decorations on the top and sides – including Swirly Lollipops, Sweeties and Marshmallow style treats – all made with fondant. And of course you will finish it off with the all important ‘Drip’! This cake is another great example of a ‘quick celebration cake’ as it really can be thrown together in no time, so ideal for those who run cake businesses from home. We will discuss the many different options and themes this cake can take on and I promise you, once you start making these, you won’t want to stop!

What do you need to bring:
Just a bite to eat for lunch and a notebook.
