This is my third ‘drip cake’ class that I have added to my menu, and you can tell I just can’t get enough of them!
You will learn how to split, fill, and mask your beautifully rich chocolate cake professionally, as well as finish it to a high standard (in the colour of your choice) with my new silky smooth buttercream recipe – a bit like Swiss Meringue without all the faff! You will make gold Chocolate Bark, little gold chocolate bars, bling up some seasonal fruit and learn how to make delicious chocolate roses from modelling chocolate, as well as the all important ‘Drip’ which we will make from a glossy chocolate glaze. You will finish it off with some fabulous ‘no deep fry’ donuts, which will be made in advance and you will of course take the recipe away, some edible glitter and of course some luxurious edible gold leaf.
This cake is another great example of a ‘quick celebration cake’ as it really can be thrown together in no time, so ideal for those who run cake businesses from home. We will discuss the many different options and themes this cake can take on and I promise you, once you start making these, you won’t want to stop!

Length of class: Approximately 4 hours with a short break for lunch.
What do you need to bring:
Just a bite to eat for lunch and a notebook.
Aprons are provided to use during the day and light refreshments will be served during the class.
