More Is More Cake – Drip Cake
Book Your Place
This class is my interpretation of the Drip Cake – made famous by the wonderful Australian cake designer Katherine Sabbath.
You will learn how to split, fill, and mask your cake professionally, as well as finish it to a high standard with my new silky smooth buttercream recipe – a bit like Swiss Meringue without all the faff! You will make Chocolate Bark and pipe scrumptious little Meringue Kisses as well as the all important ‘Drip’. You will then put everything together on your cake alongside some beautifully bright fully edible flowers, that will really make your cake ‘pop’! This cake is another great example of a ‘quick celebration cake’ as it really can be thrown together in no time, so ideal for those who run cake businesses from home. We will discuss the many different options and themes this cake can take on and I promise you, once you start making these, you won’t want to stop! In this class you will also go away with little bags of goodies including the extra meringues you piped and chocolate bark you made, there will also be prosecco served while you make your pretty packaging!
