New for 2018, our Gluten Free Baking workshop is led by our baking and gluten-free expert Rachel Bray – writer of the popular blog Lovinghomemade. Our one-day Gluten Free Baking course is a perfect introduction to gluten-free recipes, set in our bright Surrey studio classroom.
With a combination of hands-on baking and demonstrations, the day will teach you about gluten-free flours and healthy alternatives for food intolerances, and leave you inspired to create your own delicious free-from bakes at home. Rachel will guide you through each bake step by step and give you tips and techniques on alternatives to wheat for your everyday bakes. Everything is provided in class, and you leave with your delicious creations, all boxed up with a full recipe and tips sheet.
In this workshop you will make:
- Orange Polenta Cake – Whisking method
- Oatmeal Raisin Cookies – Creaming method
- Chocolate Muffins – Wet & Dry method
Length of class: Approx 5 hours with a short break for lunch
Class size: up to 8 students
What you need to bring:
Just a bite to eat for lunch.
Aprons are provided for the class and light refreshments will also be served during the day.
