I originally founded Victoria’s Kitchen to share my love of beautifully crafted cupcakes.
After moving to London in 2009, inspired by a desire to combine my passions for design and baking, I had the opportunity to be taught by some of the capital’s best cake decorators. Having then studied cake design in New York, the spiritual home of the cupcake, under Ann Warren; I was well and truly bitten by the cake bug and Victoria’s Kitchen was born!
By 2010, I was teaching for one of London’s top Cake Decorating Schools and became an accredited PME tutor. This love of teaching took my business to a new level by introducing my own classes for Victoria’s Kitchen, initially in my home county of Norfolk and eventually in Surrey where I am now based. In 2014 I was delighted to be shortlisted in the ‘Best Learning Experience’ category for the prestigious Cake Masters awards, alongside cake giants Paul Bradford, Pretty Witty and Craftsy. In October 2016 I took on my Cake Classroom Studio at The Mayford Centre, Woking and this means I am able to take the business to another level again! I now combine my passion for cakes with my passion for teaching and love nothing more than sharing my tips and techniques with my wonderful students. I live in Woking, Surrey with my husband Huw and our young children Scarlett and Rufus.
